a few bumps in the road

great locationlow water pressuretemperature fluctuation
The location seemed fine. It was close to where i needed to be.
My biggest issue was the shower. the water pressure was practically nonexistent. It was more like standing under a leaky faucet. plus, the temperature fluctuated wildly. It went from scalding hot to freezing cold without warning. it.

adequate stay at the bay

sea view roomfirst class servicenoisy air ventwindow sound
i found the staff quite attentive, they were always wearing face protection. they delivered first class service though. the sea view room included a lovely view. the weather was rough at times, it stirred up the sea. i viewed this all from our room.
our room had a noisy air vent. it kept me awake on and off throughout the night. because it was very hot, i couldn't close the window to dampen the sound. the reception staff apologized, though they didn't seem particularly bothered.

adequate stay, but some issues

clean roomcrappy pillowsexpensive food
the room was clean enough.
The pillows were awful. I barely slept. the mattress felt old and cheap, resulting in back pain each morning. plus, the price of the food was high, especially considering it seemed similar to microwaved meals.
